Just in the news today was Gulf Coast Claims Facility closing down 8 more offices in the Gulf Region, again showing that they have given up on more than 340,000 people that still are waiting for their claim to be resolved. If you have ever tried to call the Gulf Coast Claims Facility 1-800 number you will know what I mean its impossible unless you have somewhere close to go and talk to a person.

So with 340,000 Claimants still out there with well over 500,000 claims, that is half the claims that has ever been filed with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility still open according to their own statistic on their website, lets all rate the performance of the GCCF. It get a big F (Failure) in my book.

Just sitting there collecting their 1.25 million a month to run the show. With 8 billion on the bank account collecting interest while 340,000 people are still waiting to get paid very simple claims. What a disgrace.

Mr. Feinberg says in a press release to not blame President Obama, but to blame him for the failed GCCF. I will blame you Mr. Feinberg, but why did we elect a president to handle things and he strikes a deal with BP to put Mr. Feinberg in place and 1 1/2 years after the BP oil spill more than 500,000 claims are not paid. I don’t see how we cannot blame Mr. Obama for not doing enough.

In my book our president is abandoning the Gulf Coast now that the media attention is gone from the BP oil spill. He is letting the Gulf Coast Claims Facility get away with playing games with people and constantly moving the ball on where they should go to get the money they lost more than 1 1/2 years ago.

What Do We Need To Do To Get Our BP Claims Paid By The Gulf Coast Claims Facility ?

This is the question that I get asked the most on the 800 number that I man every day, where people call in for help. People are not really looking for help they are just looking for a straight answer on what is going on and why its taking so long to get paid.

I will here give everybody a list of the best tricks that work with getting the Gulf Coast Claims Facility to give your claim the attention it needs to get paid. Try these next time you talk to the GCCF and see if I am right. Another great week of people getting paid on their BP Claims from the GCCF, we have gotten many more business paid on the interim and final claims with the GCCF.

I think want we have found out by working closely with the GCCF is that if you present your case well to them and have a strong argument of why you have lost the amount you are stating your have lost its very likely that they will pay you the full amount in a very short amount of time. Here is what I would do if you GCCF claim was deficient and you got a deficiency letter back from the GCCF, try and see if you can send back in the paperwork they are asking for to move your case along. GCCF are paying these groups well

For the group that has already been paid by the GCCF we have found some nice trends that I would like everybody to know about so you can tell your friends and family to stop by an submit their BP claims on this site.

Deck hands and charter boat capt. We see that Deckhands are getting up to $60,000 for their claims even with not great records, we are seeing Charter boat captains  getting 4-5 times future loss paid.

Oyster Men are getting paid up to 6 times 2010 losses, if you have oyster leases or have an oyster boat fill out a form and let us show you what is possible.

Another group that we are seeing getting paid well are servers we are seeing $36,000 being paid on smaller losses, so future pay is being given to servers. I found myself in the lucky place to be in the room with my people and the top people from the GCCF. I got to see first hand what the problems where with peoples cases and what the GCCF is trying to do to solve the problems.

GCCF are trying hard to pay people

I am a fair person and I will call it as I see it, I know I have been hard on the GCCF in the past and I feel that has been warranted but when you get the best people that the GCCF has in a room they are very smart, very nice and they are trying to help my people get what they have lost because of the BP oil spill. I cannot say enough good things about the professional people that was at this meeting today with 60 of my people. They took 30 minutes to go though each persons case and told them right there on the spot why their case had derailed what it was about their case that had stopped the progress and what needed to be done to keep the process moving forward. If the GCCF was all like the two people sitting in the room today we would have no problem in this process and everybody would be able to get the money that they have lost.

So what problems did the GCCF find in these cases that had derailed them and what can others reading this learn from my experience today. First there where many case where a P and L (profit/Loss) statement for a month had been lost an a deficiency letter had been send out. Get us the missing paperwork and you are back on track. The GCCF was quick to admit that it might have been them that had lost the document but no mater who lost it get it back in and we are back on track. I one case the GCCF had a wrong address on file and the process was derailed. In one case a faulty bank statement was the cause of derailment. The bank had made a decoding fault and actually owe my guy another $91,000 that was not on the statement. Wow the GCCF pointed out a bank statement fault and my friend got 91k back from the bank, somebody was born under a lucky star, all in a 12 hour period and now his GCCF process is back on track. One guy showed them exactly what he was doing with big pictures of his wedding cruises with color pictures of high end destination weddings and really made the people from GCCF understand his case and why he had lost the amount of money he was telling them. When you get in front of the right people at GCCF things starts moving.

How do you get a sit down with the GCCF

This might be the next question and the answer is not easy, as you have to have the right connections and the right amount of cases to be able to set something like this up. The people you will be working with when you fill out a free case review are the attorney’s that made everything happen today. They are the once that should have the credit for getting everybody together and for setting up a frame work that makes us have these meetings every month going forward.
